No further along on “Drowned Wednesday”, the other books in the stack by my bedside have louder siren’s calls. I finished re-reading “A dying light in Corduba” (mystery series set in Ancient Rome) by Lindsey Davis and immediately started the next book in the series, “Three hands in the fountain”, which is brilliant. I’m not feeling guilty that I’ve read it before and an unread book (Drowned Wednesday) is not getting the attention … or maybe I am, why would I mention it otherwise! I am also looking over “The Hand of Justice” by Susanna Gregory which is I think, the tenth book in the Matthew Bartholomew mystery series set at Cambridge University in the 1300s.
I love a historical mystery!
