I’ve had a nice day today – I’ve listened to Geoffrey McSkimming’s “Cairo Jim and the Alabastron of Forgotten Gods”, read by the author himself. This is a series for children about an archeologist, his camel and his parrot’s adventures foiling the evil Nathanial Flanelbottom Bone (who is always up to no good!). In this one Bone is trying to become a God by taking the Alabastron in the title.
While I listened I started stitching Rose Arbor by Mirabilia designs. I think this one will be fun to stitch now I’ve sorted the threads out. I’ve done her face and neck and some of her hair.
Now I’m on the couch with the dog and listening to Falcon at the portal by Elizabeth Peters. Thinking about organising tea.
